In general, I update this fleetlist roughly monthly - after Buses magazine and the PSV Circle News Sheet. Any corrections or comments are welcome - you can email me at . When I do these updates, I'll also put in any other things I've spotted, or heard about (only reliable information), so sometimes this list might be a wee bit ahead of Buses or the PSV Circle News Sheet.

This fleetlist was last updated on 10/10/18 with the September 2018 PSV Circle News Sheets and Buses October 2018.

Note:

Buses are arranged in fleetnumber order.

F/No:

This column shows the new fleetnumbers. The system appears to work as noted below:

First digit: 1=bus on WCM group fleet, 4=bus owned by someone else (e.g. SPT, Abellio or Dawsonrentals)

Second and third digit: Year new (not registration year)

Fourth and fifth digit: Vehicle number in that year.

l

This is a bus spot. This shows I have spotted the bus at some point over its life.

Dep.

This is the vehicle allocation, and also notes which fleet it is carrying legal lettering for.

SS

South Street

If a bus is allocated to the reserve fleet, or withdrawn, its last known location is given with a status code in brackets:

(a)

Ancillary vehicle

(p) Preserved

(po)

Privately owned vehicle garaged in the depot indicated.

(r)

Reserve

(s)

Being cannibalised for spares

(t)

Driver Trainer

(u)

Unallocated

(w)

Withdrawn

Seating

I have followed the system used by the PSV Circle with the following idiosyncrasies:

I don't distinguish between Partial and Full Open Top vehicles; all of them are O.

Express-type individual seating is denoted by E.

Recovery vehicles and vans are not buses hence R is used instead of B.

Liv.

Livery codes are as follows. Most of them actually stand for something, but I'll let you figure them out for yourself.

Notes

The vehicle history is given, starting with the most recent. Vehicles paths through Arden (A), Glasgow Citybus (GC) and City Sightseeing Glasgow (CSG) are shown in a highly abbreviated form, from start to end.

Previous registrations are noted at the end. Renumberings are noted at the appropriate point in the vehicle's history.
